HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE UNTIL MY TEETH ARE WHITER?
Whitening results often become immediately apparent during the first
treatment. Typically, the whitening effect becomes even more evident after
a second treatment. Although results vary. Studies show that over 90% of
patients experience some level of whitening. The results will depend on
the individual characteristics of your teeth. The average person often
experiences 1 to 6 shades of improvement during the first treatment.
HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
Individual results will vary depending on each persons habits and unique
dental make-up, however it is safe to say that the initial results will last the
average consumer up to one year or longer. Over time, and for the very
same reasons
that caused the teeth to discolor in the first place, the consumer will notice
that their teeth will eventually discolor again.
Those who smoke cigarettes or drink large quantities of dark, acidic
beverages such as: coffee, tea, colas, etc. will have to touch up their teeth
more often than those who do not.
WILL DENTAL WORK BE EFFECTED BY WHITENING?
While hydrogen peroxide will have no negative effect on the integrity of fillings or crowns,
the simple fact is that these materials will not whiten as a result of the bleaching procedure.
However, the procedure will remove stains and clean composite dental work.
IS WHITENING FOR EVERYONE?
Almost all natural teeth will respond to the bleaching process and by following our post
whitening instructions, most customer’s teeth will always be lighter than they were before the
service.
Teeth whitening is a dynamic process and individual results will always vary. The service may
be more effective for some than others. If teeth are stained from Tetracycline use, certain
minerals or years of food, beverage and tobacco use, it is not likely that they will reach a ‘pure
white’ state and in some cases a more aggressive procedure may be necessary. In these
circumstances we highly recommend you consult your dentist.
Although most people will benefit from the teeth whitening procedure, those who are
pregnant, nursing, under the age of 14 or diabetic should consult their physician prior to
undergoing any whitening procedure.

IS TEETH WHITENING SAFE?
Teeth whitening is the number one patient-requested procedure in dentistry today. Since its
introduction, millions of people have successfully undergone some form of teeth bleaching.
There have been numerous studies over the years showing that hydrogen peroxide and
carbamide peroxide based teeth whitening systems are safe and effective.
ARE THERE ANY ADVERSE SIDE EFFECTS?
There are relatively few side effects from teeth whitening. A very small percentage of people
may experience some sensitivity during a whitening procedure and a slight tingling sensation
may be felt. This discomfort typically goes away shortly after the treatment is completed.
Sensitivity is minimized by our treatment as we use slightly lower percentage of hydrogen
peroxide than most dentists, as well as a photo-ion accelerant to speed up the whitening
process while shortening the length of the treatment and exposure to the whitening gel.
HOW DOES YOUR COSMETIC TEETH WHITENING SYSTEM WORK?
We use the iSmile Cosmetic Teeth Whitening System which is a 'self administered' process utilizing a hydrogen peroxide base gel, blue LED light tecnology and a patented mouth piece to whiten a customer's teeth.
This system is a low cost and convenient alternative to a dentist office whitening procedure. It is also much faster, effective and convenient than any home prescribed or over the counter whitening system.

DOES IT WORK?
Absolutely, in fact the average customer realizes 4-5 shades of improvement after participating in just two 15 minute sessions.

IS THE TREATMENT LIKE ZOOM OR OTHER OFFICE TREATMENTS ADMINISTERED BY DENTISTS?
It is only similar in that it utilizes peroxide based gel and light, however there are a few key differences:
1. The iSmile System uses a lower percentage of peroxide (below 12%) than what is administered by most dentists during office procedures (25%-35%). By using this lower percentage of peroxide we are able to:
a.) Avoid most teeth sensitivity and gum irritation issues while achieving measurable whitening results.
b.) Avoid the lengthy and invasive preparatory procedure necessary to protect the patient’s gums and lips during the dental office bleaching process.
c.) Meet the requirements for a self-administered, cosmetic service which does not need to be administered by a dentist or licensed personnel.
2. The most important difference is the price. In most cases we are able to offer whitening for hundreds less than most dentists charge ($300-$600), making this highly desired service available to many whom otherwise may not be able to afford it.

DO YOU HAVE TO BE A DENTIST, OR HAVE A SPECIALIZED LICENSE TO PERFORM THIS TYPE OF TEETH WHITENING?
No, the FDA and ADA have not prohibited the use of peroxide based whitening gels for over-the-counter use.
The iSmile System is self administered by the customer and strictly cosmetic. We simply supervise and instruct customers how to correctly and safely whiten their own teeth utilizing our products and LED light.
A Brighter Smile does not: examine, diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease, practice dentistry or touch any customers mouth during the cosmetic teeth whitening service. Our tecnicians do not represent themselves as dentists, dental hygenists, dental technicians or dental professionals.
If you have any questions regarding the iSmile Self Administered Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Service that are not clearly answered by our website, our informational materials, our waiver or our employees, then we recommend that you contact a Dentist prior to participating in any teeth whitening service.
